How It Works

During treatment, the laser handpiece directs pulses of light into the skin where tattoo pigment is located. The ink absorbs the energy, causing it to break apart into smaller fragments. Over time, the immune system clears these fragments, leading to gradual fading of the tattoo. Multiple wavelengths can be applied to treat a variety of ink colors, and a series of sessions is scheduled to achieve progressive clearance.

Downtime
