Dolce Vida’s Muscle Relaxer treatments use neuromodulators to reduce dynamic wrinkles and refresh your appearance. These injectables temporarily relax facial muscles that cause lines and creases, particularly in areas like the forehead, between the brows, and around the eyes. It’s a fast, effective way to look more rested, youthful, and naturally smooth. All without surgery. By softening movement, they prevent wrinkles from deepening while preserving a natural look. Different brands, such as Botox®, Dysport®, Jeuveau®, and Xeomin®, offer subtle variations in onset and duration, allowing treatments to be tailored to individual needs.

How It Works

A small amount of neuromodulator is injected directly into the muscle responsible for expression lines. The purified protein interrupts communication between the nerve and muscle, limiting contraction. As the muscle relaxes, lines on the skin surface soften. Over time, consistent use not only smooths existing wrinkles but also helps prevent new ones from forming. Results typically last three to four months before repeat treatment is needed.

Common areas include the forehead, glabella (between the brows), and crow’s feet around the eyes. They can also be used for brow lifts, lip lines, and jawline slimming in some cases.

Results typically last 3 to 4 months. With regular maintenance, the effects may last longer over time as the muscles become trained to relax more easily.

There is no required downtime. You may experience mild redness or swelling at the injection sites, but these effects usually resolve within a few hours.

Both are FDA-approved muscle relaxers that work similarly, but Xeomin is a purified version without accessory proteins. Your provider will help choose the best option based on your goals and treatment history.
